This artwork depicts an urban elevator, serving as a link between the Lausanne metro and the Chauderon Bridge. Created using acrylic paint applied with a palette knife through successive layers and precise masking techniques, the composition interweaves vertical lines, curves, and contrasts of light. Here, the elevator becomes a graphic landmark integrated into the city’s architecture. This piece is part of a series dedicated to the landscapes, infrastructure, and architecture of the Lake Geneva region, where familiar places are reinterpreted at the boundary between figuration and abstraction.
